KEFISO Ry - Kenyan Finnish Society - is a registered non-profit organization and umbrella organization representing the Kenyan community in Finland.
KEFISO ry was founded in 2012.This is an organization for Kenyans living in Finland, Finns, and others with an interest in Kenya who seek to enrich and strengthen their relationship with Kenya.
KEFISO ry is also a link to the Kenyan Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden where we have a mutual working partnership as they assist our Kenyan community on different issues.
The purpose of the organization is to
* Represent Kenyan Diaspora and Kenyan culture into the Finnish society
* Promote co-operation and integration between the Kenyans and Finnish people
* Develop Social, Economic, Educational and Cultural co-operation between Finland and Kenya
* Promote the welfare and strengthen the identity of children with Kenyan roots

To provide a forum that connects, supports, gives access to Kenyan culture and promotes Kenyan and Finnish members.

We strive to increase participation in cultural, educational, and social activities.
The board of Kefiso Ry would like to inform you that the new chairman of Kefiso Ry is Daniel Wangara. The board is as follows: Chairman Daniel Wangara, Vice Chair Nancy Hursti, Secretary Janet Mökkönen, Deputy Secretary Ira Apter, Treasurer Frank Ojwang, and Board Members Tomi Hursti, Richard Sparks, Teemu Lappalainen, and Ernest Canto.
